To the south you may find yourself inexplicably drawn to the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. For here along the most spectacular stretch of the River Severn, are six square miles that changed the world, with the world's first iron bridge as the focal point.

Ten fascinating museums tell the story of Ironbridge. Experience the all-new Blists Hill Victorian Town where you can meet a host of colourful characters, explore the shops on the new Canal Street, buy traditional wares using pounds, shillings and pence and experience the spectacular new audio visual show in the landmark visitor centre.

And do look out for the many entertaining events and hands-on activities. On certain days you can also see traditional skills and crafts being demonstrated at Coalport China Museum and Jackfield Tile Museum.
